A downloadable asset pack

Buy Now$1.00 USD or more

This is a character asset I created, from scratch, for my indie game project.  I'm making them available to help fund my endeavour.  I plan on adding to this collection as I implement the other animations I'll need.

The images are grey-scale, and can be tinted to other colours.

The sprite size is 16x24 pixels.  The examples, here, have been scaled x2.

Animations (North, East, South and West):

  • idle
  • run
  • shove
  • 🆕 punch

Version 0.0.1 of the asset (idle and run animations) will continue to be made available as a free download.  Future versions will not.  Payments will encourage me to continue working on this asset.  ðŸ˜‰

You should add the license into metadata for the asset packs:

"Edit asset pack->Metadata->Release Info->License for assets" It will increase the size of audience that will be able to find your art

Done. Thanks!

If you think that it was useful for you, you can leave a comment here to support my proposal about making metadata more visible for those who are interested in it https://itch.io/t/2919128/metadata-encouragement#post-7952450

I have one question about license. Why it is CC-BY-ND? WHat is the sense? ND means that user can't create derivatives but it is a base of character that assumes modifications to it... Or you expect that someone will use it as is? But you said in description you can recolor that itself a derivative...

It makes perfect sense, for me.  If someone is really interested in the asset, I can, by my rights, re-license it to their needs.  As it is now, (especially as a free download), I reserve all rights, as described by the license.

Thank you, though, for asking.

Hey can I modify the assets? I'm trying to make it 16 x16 and it did something... Interesting...  --->   <----

I just realized it is SUPER small.

Sorry for the late reply.

You can try.  This asset was built pixel by pixel; your best bet would be editing it with a pixel editor.

I scale the sprite up for a larger, but clean 'pixel' sprite: TP Shopper.
